This Return & Refund Policy applies to Cellular Heros LLC (“Cellular Heros,” “we”). By making a purchase or submitting a device for trade-in, you agree to this policy.

1 Purchases โ€” 30-Day Return Policy

What Can Be Returned

You may return any device purchased from Cellular Heros within 30 calendar days of delivery for a full refund, provided:

  • The device is returned in the same condition as received
  • All original packaging, accessories, and documentation included at time of sale are returned
  • No damage has occurred to the device since delivery
  • The device has not been unlocked, rooted, or modified after purchase

Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned:

  • Devices purchased more than 30 days ago

  • Devices that have been unlocked using unofficial tools or jailbroken
  • “For parts only” devices (explicitly noted as non-functional at time of sale)
  • Devices with removed or damaged serial number labels

2 Trade-In Offer Rejection Policy

If you disagree with our inspection offer (adjusted from original online quote), you have 5 business days to reject it. Upon rejection:

  • Your device will be shipped back to you at no cost via tracked mail
  • No payment will be made
  • You are free to seek offers elsewhere
No Obligation Policy: You are never obligated to accept an adjusted trade-in offer. We ship your device back free if you disagree with our assessment. We will not charge any inspection or processing fees.

3 Repair Services โ€” Warranty & Refund

90-Day Repair Warranty

All completed repairs are covered by a 90-day limited warranty on parts and labor. If the same issue recurs within 90 days and is caused by our workmanship or a defective part, we will repair it at no additional charge.

What Is Covered

  • Same issue recurring after repair (e.g., screen stops working again)
  • Defective replacement parts
  • Workmanship errors discovered after device return

What Is NOT Covered

  • New accidental damage after device pickup/return
  • Water damage occurring after repair
  • Issues unrelated to the original repair
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repair attempts after our service

Repair Refund

If we are unable to repair a device after attempting repair (rare cases), we will return the device in the same condition we received it and issue a full refund of any repair payment made.

4 FTC Consumer Protection Notice

Our return policy complies with applicable state consumer protection laws. Certain states provide additional return rights that may supersede this policy. If your state provides broader consumer rights (e.g., cooling-off periods under state law), those rights are preserved.

Devices Flagged as Stolen Devices that return as stolen, blacklisted, or activation-locked will be: (1) quarantined and not purchased; (2) reported to local law enforcement; (3) held as required by applicable state law. If you legitimately own a flagged device, we can assist you in contacting the carrier or law enforcement to resolve the flag before we can complete a purchase.

4 IRS Reporting Obligations

As a business that pays individuals for goods, Cellular Heros has IRS reporting obligations:

  • Payments to sellers totaling $600 or more in a calendar year require issuance of Form 1099-MISC or 1099-NEC
  • We will request your Social Security Number (W-9 form) when payments reach this threshold
